[3.0] PayPal Integration

[3.0] PayPal Integration

IMPORTANT:

  1. Bucket.io will require two separate token codes from PayPal in order to complete this integration. One is for live purchases and the other for test purchases.
  2. While it is possible to skip the test code integration, you will not be able to perform test purchases using your funnel with cart functionality.
  3. Additionally, please note that you will not be able to change the currency initially configured for reporting and statistics purposes.

Step #1: Find the first token code

  1. Click My Account located at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click "Add New Integration" located on the left-hand side.

  1. Click the PayPal icon to open the integration window and select "Request Permission..." This will open a pop-up window in your browser.

  1. You will be prompted to enter your email associated with PayPal and select your country from the drop-down menu. Click "Next"

  1. On the next page, enter your PayPal password and click "Log In"

  1. Once you are successfully logged in, PayPal will ask you to confirm the integration by clicking "Agree and Connect."

  1. After confirming, you will see a message indicating that the connection has been successfully established. Close this window and return to Bucket.io, where the PayPal codes will be automatically populated. Click "Continue."

Step #2: Find the second token code (Test mode code)

  1. After adding the first token codes, the integration pop-up will reload and show "Request Permission..." once again.

  1. Repeat the process of entering your email, country, and PayPal password.
  2. Once you are successfully logged in, PayPal will ask you to confirm the integration by clicking "Agree and Connect."
  3. After confirming, you will see a message indicating that the connection has been successfully established. Close this window and return to Bucket.io, where the PayPal codes will be automatically populated. Click "Save Integration."

  1. If the integration is successfully saved, you will see a green banner message saying "Integration added successfully."

  1. Note: After the integration is saved, PayPal will take up to two business days to review the integration.
