[2.0] Starting A Funnel From Scratch

To save time when creating a funnel, we have included templates. This option saves hours of work and requires just replacing a few pieces of copy, colors, background, and images. Nevertheless, there is always an option to start from scratch. The interface is very intuitive thanks to the drag and drop options.

Step # 1

From the account dashboard click the green button “Create New Funnel” located at the top-right corner. This action will automatically take you to a blank Canvas where we will drag and drop all of our Funnel components.

Note: At the left menu bar we can see all the different components that can be included in the funnels: Pre-Quiz, Quiz Questions, Quiz Results, and Post-Quiz. To review the definition of each one and how to use them please visit our article named “Canvas”.

Step # 2

Starting with the Pre-Quiz Page, drag and drop from the left menu bar over to the blank Canvas.

Step # 3

Following the example given in Step # 2, we will drag and drop Quiz Questions, as many as we need. You can choose from Radial Question which is a single answer type, Check Question which is multiple choice type, and Short or Long Input which are open-ended type of questions. It is also important to connect and create paths.

Step # 4

As in Step 2 and 3 Drag and drop a Quiz Results page and connect them, please note that by default it only has one bucket, but you can add more if needed by clicking the Add New Bucket orange button. This page is not visible for quiz takers, it is an internal page (for your eyes only), where bucket.io calculates results based on how they answer the questions and will later determine their respective Post-Quiz Page.

Step # 5

Lastly, drag and drop a Lead Capture to collect people’s information and Thank You Page. Add these two pages as buckets you have, in the example below you can see the two different buckets sharing the same Lead Capture and Thank you page. However, having different Lead Capture and Thank you pages fo each bucket will allow to customize the copy related to the bucket that was assigned based on the answers.

Now it’s time to style the Funnel!!!
