Quiz Cart: #9 Publish using Test mode VS Live Mode
After completing the configurations with the Cart functionality, and you feel like you’re in a position to test the entire flow, you can do so by using the test mode or live mode, this article will address both scenarios.
IMPORTANT:
Purchases made in your funnel while the Test mode is active will be recorded but will not be credited as they are test purchases.
Step #1: Publish
Click on the Publish button located at the top right corner. Here the system asks you to select the domain from the drop-down menu, once selected click the Continue button
After clicking the Continue button you should see a pop-up with two choices (two buttons). Carefully read and choose one of the options. We recommend selecting the Test Mode.
If you’re going for the Test Mode follow step #2, but if you’re going for the Live Mode right away skip to Step #3
Step #2: Select Test mode
Click the “Publish Using Test Mode” button
It generates a URL
Now you’re ready to test using the provided URL
Step #3: Activating Live Mode
After the funnel is published and the Test mode is activated, you will see a yellow banner indicating that the funnel is in Test Mode. Click on the orange Toggle located above the yellow banner to activate the Live Mode
Immediately, a pop-up message will appear showing that the Live version will be activated and real purchases will be enabled. Click on the Confirm button to continue.
The toggle turns green indicating that the Live mode is on. Clicking this toggle again will activate the Test Mode, so if you are not ready to process real orders we suggest activating the Test Mode so you can test further.
