New questions added to a quiz will have a default configuration, where adding the title, choices, and mapping are needed. Additionally, these new questions can be located between existing questions.

IMPORTANT:

1. Only Radio Questions and Checkbox Questions have the ability to add mapping based on the answers.
   

Removing Connections

If a new question will be included in a specific questions flow. For instance, a new question is needed to be located between existing Question 1 (Q1) and Question 2 (Q2), it is required to remove the existing connection between Q1 and Q2 in order to locate the new question(s).

Step #1: 

Hover over the lines that connect the questions and click on the trash can icon to remove the connections. Red dots will display upon deleting the connection successfully.

Moving questions

Step #2:

For best practices, it is recommended to move the existing question and leave room for the new questions to fit, this will especially help to add the connection between existing and new questions.

Adding questions

Step #1:

On the Canvas, drag the new Quiz Question component, and locate it in the space left between the existing questions.

Step #2:

On the question added click on Edit in Builder button, where the title, description choices, etc. can be edited.

Step #3:

Once all the changes are accomplished, click on the Canvas button to go back to the Canvas area.

Connecting Questions

Once the new questions are located in the right position, it is required to connect the choices within a question to the next question that will be displayed. The red dots will indicate the missing connections:

Step #1:

Drag an answer option’s red dot and place it in the next question’s red dot. Note that the red dot area in the next question will be highlighted indicating the correct spot to place the connection. 

If done properly, the red dot will not display anymore and a connection line will appear, indicating that the connection was successfully accomplished.

Step #2:

Repeat this process with the remaining red dots.

Adding Mapping

After creating your buckets and questions, a highly important step to building funnels is to assign buckets based on how people answered questions. Please follow the steps below to assign a bucket to the question’s answer choices.

Step #1: 

Locate the question that you wish to map.

Step #2:

Click the button with a plus (+) sign next to each choice/answer that needs to be mapped to a bucket.

Step #3:

Click one of the deployed options to associate the answer to the respective bucket.

It will automatically turn orange and add a checkmark next to the selection made, indicating that it is successfully linked.

Step #4:

Repeat the same process with other choices/questions as needed.
